Farm Gherkins
Small cucumbers picked the same morning, packed whole with dill crowns, garlic and yellow mustard seed. Crunchy, sharp, no sugar.
PicklePick is a farm kitchen that turns whatever the growers bring us into jars worth putting on an open shelf. Vinegar, salt, spice, time. Nothing you cannot pronounce.
We buy from growers we can drive to. If the beans are not right this week, we do not pack beans this week.
Vegetables, vinegar, salt, sugar, spice, water. No colourants, no preservatives beyond the brine doing its job.
Proper jars with proper seals. Bring them back clean and we take R15 off your next order.
Every jar is filled, wiped, capped and labelled by the same pair of hands. That is the whole operation.
If you have never had a jar from us, these are the ones we would put in your hands first.

Bird's eye and cayenne chillies with smoked paprika, roasted garlic and a splash of cane vinegar. Good on everything, dangerous on eggs.
Hard green mango shredded and cured in salt and sun, then folded through masala and mustard oil. The jar that empties fastest.
Cauliflower florets and baby onions in a turmeric and mustard brine that turns them gold. Cuts through anything rich.

One good season, one small garden, and far more produce than one family could eat before it turned. So we did what our grandmothers did: we packed it into jars and kept it for winter.
Friends started asking for jars. Then their friends. PicklePick is what happened next, and we have kept it deliberately small so that every batch still tastes like the first one.
Anything worth eating in February was picked in January and packed the same day.
